The 12th UNESCO Africa Engineering Week & 10th African Engineering Conference is officially opened live from Selous Hall at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam. The High-Level Opening Ceremony brings together the Guest of Honour, the Hon. Minister for Works, and remarks from UNESCO, the World Federation of Engineering Organizations, the Federation of African Engineering Organisations and the African Union, hosted by the Institution of Engineers Tanzania. The ceremony is followed by the Opening Keynote from H.E. Wamkele Mene, Secretary-General of the AfCFTA — Engineering Africa's Inclusive, Innovative and Sustainable Future: Delivering Agenda 2063 through Engineering Leadership — and the High-Level Ministerial & CEO Roundtable on moving Africa's transformation from policy to delivery.
